We are finding some markets slow and some not so slow.

An abundance of roles available in London across PM and PQS. 5-year post grad maybe with Chartership seems to be the most sought after.

Doha has work within the local Main Contractors and the larget PMC on major projects.

Dubai has pockets of work yet nothing like it once was.

Bahrain is giving us work as is KSA and Kuwait on occasion. Oman is not a market we have worked heavily, however we are aware of a couple of roles in the local consultants.

KL has slowed, especially after the political issues and the cancellation of the rail link.

Singapore again gives us pockets of work but we are not experts in that market.

Australia is busy with a real mixture of roles across consulting and contracting.

Canada seems slow but again we are not experts in the region.

The USA gives us pieces of work mainly for specific skill sets in major cities on major projects.

Advertising in the Gulf market generates hundreds of responses per advert and perhaps explains this market.

Overall a real mixture of buoyant markets and not so buoyant as always. They do change over time.

Candidate supply in the UK especially is a challenge, perhaps due to a lack of fresh graduates coming through during the last recession years and making the 5 – 7-year post grad candidate search a challenge.

Australia is happy to hire in the local and overseas markets depending on requirement.
