A large global consulting engineer with an enviable reputation for the ”special” projects has a requirement in their consultancy delivery team. Created from client requests the team now numbers 80 people worldwide and they are growing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to various prestigious projects.
Role 1
Construction / Program lead.
Based in Riyadh this is an Associate Director upwards level role that sits in the Project management arm of consultancy.
Your career to date will bring 15 years experience in planning design and oversight of large and complex capital programmes.
You will have studied civil engineering and have an MSc in Engineering or similar.
Develop implementation options and analyse the merits of various options in conjunction with the development of the masterplan/design.
Use experience as a benchmark to validate delivery timeframes, costs and options.
Undertake a holistic study of resources, temporary infrastructure, transport and security and incorporate logistics considerations in the delivery model
Creating integrated strategic programmes covering design, approvals, procurement and construction.
Assess technical solutions to provide guidance on best practise construction build ability and methodology
Produce graphical visualisation of the phases/delivery process for ease of communication
Support the development of delivery strategies including procurement and packaging strategy
Develop other specific studies /presentations as and when required
Review/input into feasibility studies produced by others.
Assess key implementation risks Compile the above into high quality reports/presentations
Coordinate the studies and deliverables across the different teams
Qualified professional capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multi-discipline projects.
In-depth knowledge of the design, procurement and delivery process for large/complex projects
Overall Design/Planning experience of large/complex building or infrastructure works
Understanding and knowledge of process based design and management techniques
Able to work with clients and to deliver tangible outputs within agreed timescales and specifications
Expertise in the leadership and influence of high performing professional teams.
Proven ability to communicate and influence at senior management level.
Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent PowerPoint experience
This role examines the projects and fathoms if what is wanted is actually achievable. It consults with many internal and external stakeholders and drives to the very core of solutions.
A true understanding of across the board constructibility from design to planning to procurement and construction.
